Merhi?s Macau hopes ended by failure

Roberto Merhi has fallen out of contention in the Macau Grand Prix after a disastrous end to today's qualification race. He started sixth, but overhauled Signature team-mates Marco Wittmann and Daniel Abt, as well as his rapid Prema stable-mate Valtteri Bottas, to run third entering the final tour of the 10-lap race.

Cut rubber caused Vettel failure - Pirelli

Sebastian Vettel's tyre failure during the closing stages of yesterday's first day of testing in Abu Dhabi was the result of a cut in the rubber. According to Pirelli's investigations, the failure on Vettel's right-rear tyre on the approach to Turn 11 was caused by something the Red Bull driver picked up from the track.
