Nasr makes it two wins from three

Felipe Nasr cemented his place at the top of the British Formula 3 championship table with a supremely measured drive to victory in a frenetic 40-minute 'feature' race at Monza this afternoon. The Brazilian started only eighth and completed the first lap outside the top 10, but picked his way through the field with some well-executed slipstream passes and battled his way up to second as the race entered its second half

Sakurai to miss second Monza race

Kotaro Sakurai will not compete in the final two British Formula 3 races of the weekend at Monza today after crashing heavily during yesterday's first race. The Japanese Rookie Cup racer barrel rolled out of the first race of the season at the Variante Della Roggia, after launching his Hitech Dallara-Mugen-Honda over the back of class rival Bart Hylkema (T-Sport). Sakurai, 16, escaped uninjured but damaged his car's tub in the accident, so will not be able to continue racing this weekend
