Raikkonen enjoys first NASCAR test

Kimi Raikkonen says he enjoyed his first NASCAR experience after testing this week for Kyle Busch Motorsports for the first time. According to a release from Raikkonen's ICE1 Racing, the Finn completed over 400 laps at the half-mile Gresham Motorsports Park oval, working with KBM's engineers on various set up adjustments to familiarize himself with his new technical environment. "It was a lot of fun, I really had no expectations or anything to compare it to beforehand but at the end of the day, I am really looking forward to the first race," said Raikkonen

Vettel pips Hamilton to Sepang pole

Sebastian Vettel denied Lewis Hamilton pole position for the Malaysian Grand Prix in an extremely close battle at Sepang. Hamilton had held provisional pole early in Q3 with a 1m35.000s lap, which put the McLaren a tenth clear of Vettel's Red Bull at that stage.

Pagenaud to sub for Beatriz at DRR

Reigning American Le Mans Series champion Simon Pagenaud will make his IndyCar Series debut at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend when the 26-year-old Frenchman stands in for the injured Ana Beatriz in the Dreyer & Reinbold team. Both DRR drivers Beatriz and Justin Wilson sustained injuries to their wrists in the opening round at St Petersburg two weeks ago, but while the Englishman will start this weekend's event, the Brazilian has been ruled out with a broken scaphoid bone.
