Loeb returns to the front in Mexico

Sebastien Loeb is back in the Rally Mexico lead, and has pulled out a 19.7-second margin over Citroen team-mate Sebastien Ogier. The world champion was always likely to have an edge this morning as Ogier - who ended Friday with a narrow lead - ran first on the road.

Monras moves from GP3 to F2

Miki Monras has decided to switch from GP3 to Formula 2 for the 2011 season. The 19-year-old Spaniard was 10th in the inaugural GP3 Series last year, taking two podium finishes as he graduated from Formula Renault.

Pye seals Double R F3 seat

UK Formula Ford champion Scott Pye has confirmed he will step up to British Formula 3 this season with Double R. The 21-year-old Australian tested for the squad at Rockingham this week, and has now been officially announced as the team's second driver for 2011, alongside Pipo Derani. Ferrari tweaks car?s name again

Ferrari has made a further adjustment to the chassis name of its 2011 Formula 1 car after settling its disagreement with Ford. The car had originally been designated the F150, a title chosen to mark the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. But this prompted a complaint from Ford, which feared the name would cause confusion with customers as it has a popular truck design known as the F-150

Finland?s Greger Huttu further solidified his unofficial title as the world?s greatest sim racer by winning this morning?s iRacing.com Intel® GP Series World Final, a thirty lap race in Star Mazdas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.  After qualifying second to Bastien Bartsch (France), Huttu grabbed the lead on the second lap and was never headed.  The Scandinavian didn?t have an easy time of it, however, as Bartsch applied pressure throughout the race and took the checkered flag just .9s behind the winner with England?s David Williams rounding-out the podium in third. Vettel: Two stops impossible right now

World champion Sebastian Vettel believes Pirelli's tyres will force drivers to make at least three pitstops during races, as he reckons one or two are impossible at the moment. Pirelli has said several times that it has designed its tyres to wear out quicker than last year's Bridgestone, with two-stop strategies the main goal.
