Kurt Busch wins again in Duel one

Kurt Busch claimed his second victory in a week at Daytona by winning the first Gatorade Duel qualifying race for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season-opener. The Penske driver worked in tandem with Furniture Row's Regan Smith and managed to remain ahead of him coming out of the final corner of the 60-lap event, as Busch swept both races he has entered at Daytona this last week after winning Saturday's non-points Budweiser Shootout.

Hirvonen takes lead in 2011 EDGE Race

Mikko Hirvonen's Rally Sweden victory not only put him at the head of the World Rally Championship, it also gave him the lead of the Castrol EDGE Race for 2011. Ostberg holds lead as Hirvonen closes

Mads Ostberg continues to lead Rally Sweden at the end of day one, but his advantage over Mikko Hirvonen is down to 14.8 seconds. Stobart Ford driver Ostberg had stretched his lead to 32s by setting the joint fastest time on the Vargasen stage, the first of this afternoon's loop. He was a little slower on the following Likenas test - and then struggled through Lovhaugen with severe visibility issues after his car's lightpod was dislodged early on.
