Vainio moves to GP3 with Tech 1

Former karting star Aaro Vainio will step up to GP3 in 2011. The 17-year-old will remain with French outfit Tech 1 Racing, which took him to fourth in this year's Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Vainio was the highest-placed rookie in the 2010 series.
